Virtual Group Support and Education Throughout Your Weight Loss Journey.

Each weight loss journey is highly personal, shaped by individual biology, lifestyle, and psychology. And yet, they universally benefit from , and often require a strong support system to ensure long-term success.

During the COVID Pandemic, MIT neuroscientist found that longing for social interaction elicits a similar neurological response to a hungry person's craving for food.

Whether this is the first or fifth time you have lost weight, there is a good chance you have reached a plateau, experienced an increase in appetite and cravings or simply returned to earlier, unhelpful patterns of eating. In addition to weekly support, you will learn how to challenge your body's physiological drive to regain weight and explore your individual relationship with food.

Peer Support And Psychoeducation- Staples Along Your Weight Loss Journey

As a practicing Physician Assistant with  more than a decade of experience in Obesity Medicine,  I appreciate the life changing experiences patients are having since initiating  GLP-1 medications.  As time progresses,  a  subset of these patients are  finding that maintaining a reduced weight is the more challenging part of their weight loss journey.

I am also a practicing Licensed Therapist for almost a decade which continues to inform me about the potential overlap  of emotional eating , excess weight and associated challenges with anxiety, depression, PTSD and OCD traits.

Weight4Health is an 8 week, psycho-educational support group for those on a sustained weight loss journey.
